BELGIUM – On walks in Belgium when visiting my grandfather in Brussels when I was small, my dad took me somewhere which triggered a fascination I have today: the Duferco Iron Foundry in Clabecq. To a child, it had the appeal of some strange kind of fantasy house with all its tubes, conveyors and strange kinds of constructions. I even made some pictures of it with my dad’s analogue Olympus single-lens reflex camera around 2001 (when I was 19):










Clabecq was also one of the first places I made picture of with a digital camera (my dad had bought a small Casio on his first ever holiday in Asia), 2004-01-03:
