At the Foot of Garbage Mountain

By Ruben

GERMANY – A short bike ride with a friend on the northern edge of Berlin, 2018-05-26. It took us to the Mühlberg (literally: ‘Garbage Mountain’), or garbage dump near Blankenfelde, which I was told was built from the rubble of buildings destroyed in WW2 (There are a number of such hills in Berlin, Teufelsberg and Müggelberg being the most famous ones).

1. Blankenfelde (now part of Pankow)
2. Arkenberge Lake
5. A house on an allotment at the foot of the Mühlberg
